


Engr. Jeffrey T. Dellosa, the TDTLO Director and currently the ITSO Manager, shares his knowledge on the subject of Intellectual Property (IP) and particularly on Patent during the 8th Caraga Region Engineering, Architecture and Technology Educators (CREATE) Congress held last March 9, 2016 at the Big Daddy's Convention Center.
Participants in the Congress included students, faculty members and professionals from the different higher academic institutions in Caraga Region such as the Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU), Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT), Surigao del Sur College of Technology (SSCT), St. Paul University of Surigao (SPUS), Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) among others.
Also present during the CREATE Congress were representatives from the Minding Industry, Telecom Industry and representatives from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Engr. Dellosa discussed in detail the different types of protections from Copyright to Industrial Property Rights focusing on patent and utility model (UM). Engr. Dellosa also taught the subject on patent search, although on a very limited time, and encouraged everyone to conduct patent search of their planned researchers and product development.
The attendance in the said congress was at least 600 combined for faculty and students, representatives from the industry such as the Mining Industry, Telecom Industry and representatives from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
